He is passionate about helping clients’ position for growth, execute on strategy, and improve business agility by aligning workforce talent needs to company initiatives. As an active member of several trade organizations such as Staffing Industry Analyst (SIA), he frequently speaks on industry labor trends.

SOW Practice Director

Michael has been focused on all aspects of services procurement program solutions for over 16 years, including MSP and VMS sourcing, solution implementations and SOW program management. His functional experience spans strategic sourcing, vendor management, category management, contract development, negotiations and supplier diversity sourcing and management. For the last seven years Matherly has been consulting with large, global companies to design services procurement program solutions for managing contingent labor and SOW-based services. In 2015 the company that Mr. Matherly founded, Sourcing For Services, entered into strategic partnership with nextSource for management of SOW activities. Matherly leads the Program Design Assessment workshops for nextSource and new clients. The SFS team of experienced procurement practitioners support nextSource's delivery of SOW management services.
